The home accommodates 6 adults with the option to include up to 2 small children for a total of eight. Step inside to discover a warm and welcoming living area, where you can relax by the wood-burning fireplace or enjoy a movie night on the large, internet-connected smart TV. The open-concept layout flows seamlessly into the dining area, which comfortably seats eight and is perfect for family meals or game nights. The home features three well-appointed bedrooms, each designed for relaxation after a day of adventure. Bedroom 1: Equipped with a cozy queen bed, it offers a peaceful retreat with ample closet space. Bedroom 2: Also features a comfortable queen bed, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Bedroom 3: Ideal for larger groups, this room includes a queen bed and two twin beds, providing flexible sleeping arrangements. Each bedroom comes with memory foam mattresses, extra pillows, and blankets to ensure every guest's comfort. There are two full bathrooms in the home, each stocked with fresh towels and complimentary toiletries. The bathrooms are designed with both style and convenience in mind, ensuring a refreshing start to your day. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for your culinary adventures. It includes modern appliances, cookware, and all the essentials you need to prepare delicious meals. Whether you're making a quick breakfast before hitting the slopes or cooking up a feast, you'll find everything you need here. Step outside to a spacious, private backyard, where the centerpiece is our oversized gas fire pit—one of the most beloved features of our home. Guests often mention how much they enjoy gathering around it to roast marshmallows and share stories, whether it's summer or winter. It’s also our favorite spot for family time in the evenings. You can unwind in the hot tub under the stars or fire up the gas grill for a BBQ. The backyard is perfect for enjoying the crisp mountain air and taking in the beautiful natural surroundings. There’s also ample space for your four-legged friends, as pets are welcome Believe it or not, finding a free spot to go snow sledding in Big Bear can be a challenge. However, right behind our cabin, nestled in the forest, you'll discover numerous perfect spots for sledding. The best part? Since there's no public parking, it’s never crowded. The only people who have access are those staying in the surrounding homes, ensuring a peaceful and private sledding experience. The property offers parking for up to two cars in the driveway, with additional space for visitors. Please note that street parking is not allowed during the winter months due to city regulations. For your convenience, the home includes a washer and dryer, high-speed WiFi, and a selection of cleaning supplies.

Areas with Limited or No Access: Supply Closets: There are a few locked supply closets within the home that are reserved for staff use and are not accessible to guests. You don’t need to drive anywhere—just step out the back door, and you’re on your way. Explore the stunning forest scenery right in your backyard, with trails that cater to all levels of hikers, from easy walks to more challenging adventures. Big Bear Lake Shoreline: The beautiful shoreline of Big Bear Lake is just a 5-minute drive away, offering opportunities for fishing, boating, and lakeside picnics during the warmer months. Snow Summit Ski Resort: If you’re looking to explore another nearby ski area, Snow Summit is only a 10-minute drive away. Bear Mountain Ski Resort is only a 5-minute walk from the property, making it incredibly convenient for those looking to hit the slopes without the need to drive. Driving: For those planning to explore further afield, a car is recommended. Big Bear Lake Village, with its shops, restaurants, and entertainment, is about a 10-minute drive away. Additionally, Snow Summit Ski Resort is just a 10-minute drive, offering more winter sports options. Parking is easy, with space for two cars in the driveway. Public Transportation: While Big Bear Lake is car-friendly, there are limited public transportation options. The nearest shuttle pick up is at bear mountain ski resort, a 5 min walk away, this Trolly shuttle is also free. Cycling: The area is also bike-friendly. There are some of the best official big bear designated mountain biking trails right behind the house in the forest also the official big bear bike path starts right down the street in front of the Zoo about a 4 min ride away, this path takes you all around the lake. Cycling is a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of Big Bear Lake, especially during the warmer months. Taxis and Ride-Sharing: Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are available in Big Bear Lake, though availability may be limited compared to urban areas.
